An Hermes Sale is an exciting event! But don’t get things wrong. This is not the boutique buying experience you may be used to. Not even close! An Hermes Sale is more like Black Friday Sale – loooong lines everywhere and people apparently experiencing FOMO once they get inside.
First you wait for hours to get in, and then you get right into the next line to actually pick a piece to buy. But behold, they don’t have to colors you would like. Either way it’s worth it simply due to the enormous discount, even if the color isn’t the most main stream.
Hermes does its sales on a very short notice and most people won’t even get to know about it. Furthermore, the policy and allowances may differ each time. Sometimes you can just show up if you know about it, other times you have to be on the list to get in.
